Soup Kitchen Event on May 14th at Elijah’s Promise, New Brunswick

You can help us fulfill
our Islamic obligation, by volunteering to feed your community’s hungry
and homeless.

 
It is narrated on the
authority of ‘Abdullah b. ‘Amr that a man asked the Messenger of Allah
(may peace and blessings be upon him) which of the merits (is superior)
in Islam. He (PBUH) remarked: That you provide food and extend
greetings to one whom you know or do not know.(Muslim)

Food Preparation Shift: 4-6PM (MUST BE 17 YRS or ABOVE to participate)
Serving Shift: 6-7:30PM (MUST BE 12 YRS or ABOVE to participate)
Cleaning Shift: 7:30-8:00 (ALL AGES)
*** ALL VOLUNTEERS MUST WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES
