Super storm SANDY Relief CAN Food Drive

Due to the recent events of Superstorm Sandy, many families are without food and shelter.

American Muslims For Hunger Relief (AMFHR) has been making an effort to collect and provide food for these families.

In the last week, AMFHR has distributed hot meals to areas in Keansburg, Sayreville, South Amboy, West Monmouth County, Belmar, Sea Side, and Ocean City.

Among the many affected victims, we have also found many MUSLIM FAMILIES, who are also in dire need of our help.

We kindly request you to DONATE non-perishable food or any canned goods. Those goods that will be accepted are: canned tuna, pasta, rice, cereal, canned fruits, soups, jams, and all kind of canned vegetables, beans and corns. AMFHR will be taking these items to those affected families.

PLEASE NOTE: Check the expiration dates! All food MUST be SEALED! Please refrain from giving goods in glass containers or food that may spoil easily.
